Below is a breakdown of our first projects as Stuart PTO to support Stuart Middle School.

2024-2025 Fundraising Fun with Food
PTO and Principal have partnered to fundraise money by partnering with local restaurants in our community. Get in the game and help us score some cash for a slam-dunkin', touchdownin', goal-scoring good time!

April to May 2024: Little Caesar's Pizza Kits. Click button above to buy a pizza kit to be delivered straight to you.

May & Going Forward: the Principal is partnering with Texas Roadhouse for our next fundraiser to support this event. Stay tuned on when this will be available.
​
Fundraiser mission: to raise money and buy 36 sports balls in total: soccer balls, basketballs, and footballs.
​
Join us in empowering our students to embrace the joy of recess throughout the school year. Your support as a volunteer or donation will ensure they have the opportunity to get out, play, and make lasting memories.
​
Where we are as of April 2024: PTO volunteers have met with the Principal to build a fundraising campaign for this.

First Fundraising Event: Little Caesar Pizza Kits from 4/19/2024 to 5/19/2024.

Second Fundraising Event: Texas Roadhouse, dates to be defined.

Fundraising Goal: Fundraise between $1,000 to $1,200 in order to buy 36 balls for the kids to enjoy and use during recess times (assuming $30 cost a ball until we can order in bulk. Any remaining fundraising left over we will use the money to buy more than the 36 balls for the children to use for the 2024-2025 school year).

School & Volunteer Organized: School Wide Dance on May 10, 2024
Vice Principal and Band Teacher at Stuart Middle School are partnering with parent volunteers and organized this end of school year dance for the students!
​
Required: Students must not have an In-School (ISS) or Out-Of-School (OSS) suspension, and fewer than 5 tardies between 4/19 to 5/8 to quality to attend the dance.
​
Where we are as of April 2024: parents have signed up to help with volunteer activities, first dance email sent out April 20 to parents about the dance!

Theme: Night on the town. Decorate a 'downtown' theme

Time: 6:00pm - 8:00pm. Volunteers needed Thursday prior & Friday 2:30pm - 8:30pm

Concessions: yes, exact menu to be defined. Bring extra money to buy food and drinks!

Cost for Entry: $10 entry fee

Student Organized: Color Fun Run May 21, 2024
The Stuart Student Committee organized a Fun Run to fundraise for the school and Sources of Strength, a national suicide prevention program.

Required: Parents will need to sign the virtual permission slip no later than Friday May 17, 2024 and pay the entry fee.

Where: Stuart Middle School, 2-mile run

Theme: a fun color run, with the possibility of lots of color!

Time: Run is 2:30pm - 4:30pm, volunteers from 3pm-4pm

Concessions: Water Stations, First Aid Station & Celebration Event at the end.

Costs: there are 3 different levels students can pay to enter
